Playing For Free


A Newb ( or someone just joining the U.S. Of E but not paying, can play the U.S. of E in all ways without ever paying even a penny. Granted it is more difficult for a player who is not a 'made' player or someone who pays the minimums of $10 per month, but it can still be done.

Basics Rules/Regs


An E-1 when you first join has command of at least a platoon (200) recruits at his/her command. From there you are also allotted 1500 points as it costs points to turn your recruits into Light Medium and Heavy Troops. We allow up to 5 memberships per I.P. address. If you are playing using a shared IP platform you can email Admin at admin@usofearth.com to ask for a waiver if there truly is more than 5 people in your office or on your network.

Made members, or those that are paying members are considered made as they support the site. As a made member there are a number of advantages you have over non-made players or newbs as we call them.

Made Members:


Have total access to all data in the Action Station ( the Strategy Action and Map Section where you can attack and negotiate and challenge other players). In the Action Station you will notice 4 graphs filled with data. Your data entails:

T = Troops (the most important factor in the war game)
E = Experience (with each win you gain experience, more wins more E points)
C = Community (All messages and posts in Community section as gain you points in Community)
Kn = Knowledge (Knowledge points in Knowledge section, reflects your intelligence)

P = Points (Your War Chest or Bank. Points are like money in the game. Do not confuse with Credits below)
A = Art of War (Points gained in At of War section)
C = Credits (1 credit = 1 U.S. Dollar)
K = Karma (In community section if your messages are voted up your Karma increases)

H = Humor (points from humor section.
A = Allied Troops (troops of allies who have defense pacts or alliances with you)
M = Morale (Important for Troops, more wins over losses increases your morale)
P = Politics ( Points needed to advance in rank, acquired only through negotiating results rather than warfare)
